Dudu

Sebabatso and Dudu are the protective detail. Dudu guides Peo to Sebabatso.

Perched in bronze with wings unfurling in pale wood, Dudu holds the gaze of both night and dream. This guardian owl is more than watcher — it is messenger, guiding the seeker toward protection and revelation. Its form balances weight and lightness: a grounded body of bronze, with wings carved like flowing breath, casting shifting shadows that echo the unseen.

In Bantu cosmology, owls are keepers of hidden knowledge, those who see what others cannot. Dudu embodies this role — a sentinel of wisdom, a guide through darkness, and a companion to Sebabatso, together forming a constellation of guardianship around Peo.

Existing between creature, spirit, and myth, Dudu is both protector and pathfinder. It carries the aura of timeless watchfulness, reminding us that even in the night, guidance is near, and the way forward is illuminated by ancestral sight.
